In the heart of the rolling bocage landscapes of the Pays d’Auge, this Bivouac is set in a lush green environment of meadows with unobstructed views over the marshes, a true paradise for birdwatchers. The peaceful atmosphere is shaped by stunning sunrises, the passage of storks and the presence of sheep in the surrounding pastures. The surroundings invite you to explore paths and orchards on foot or by bike. Nearby, discover Caen, Lisieux, Camembert and the gourmet routes of Normandy, with cheeses, cider and local markets.

You can cancel or modify your stay up to 7 days before your departure. The amount of your reservation will be refunded as a credit usable for 1 year.
After this 7-day period before your arrival, your stay is non-cancellable and non-modifiable.

Nous avons passé deux nuits sur ce spot.
L’accès est très facile, d’approche des villages du calvados

Les + :
- proche de la mer et de la côte sauvage
- moutons et oiseaux en tout genre à côté

Les - :
- visibilité sur la maison des propriétaires
- pas de côté « sauvage »
- maison en chantier à côté de l’emplacement
- bruit de fond de route en continu

Nous notons du coup l’emplacement comme « moyen ». Pour une étape, pour les si peu d’emplacement en Normandie disponible c’est ok et ça dépanne bien.

We arrived and left in darkness so can't comment much. However we felt safe and at peace after a long day of travel, the field edge location was firm and level for the van. There was a little road noise from the nearest autoroute, but the tawny owls were louder :-). The church bell stopped ringing at 9pm (thankfully). It is about 30 minutes drive to Caen ferry. I would definitely stay again :-)
