On the heights of Lieurac, this Bivouac is a true gem opening onto the Pyrenees with sweeping views over the surrounding landscapes. The terraced and level ground offers a comfortable setting in the heart of peaceful nature, sometimes brought to life by horses nearby. Access is quite difficult with a slight slope, a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. The surroundings invite you to explore the extraordinary garden of Lieurac and wander along paths through hills and forests. Nearby, Foix and its castle, Mirepoix with its covered square, and the Ariège River offer beautiful escapes between heritage, swimming and nature.
