In Nouvelle-Aquitaine, in a clearing in a small woodland near Chérac, beneath centuries-old oak trees, this bivouac is set in the calm of a preserved forest environment. The site offers a simple and restful immersion, ideal for a night under the trees with a soft, natural atmosphere. Nearby, you can discover the Abbaye aux Dames in Saintes, appreciated for its Romanesque architecture and unique musical and cultural atmosphere, as well as the Arc de Germanicus in Saintes, an emblematic relic from the Gallo-Roman era on the banks of the Charente. Finally, the town of Cognac charms visitors with its old streets, trading houses, and distillery tours, highly valued for understanding local craftsmanship.
